On Saturday, August 21, the leading charity group in Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), Helping Hands Foundation organised a campus tour for newly admitted students of the university.
According to the organization, the campus tour is in line with the objectives centred on contributing selflessly to society.
According to Tolulope Akinyefa also known as Elite, the campus tour was occasioned with the need to get the new intakes of our noble institution familiarized with important places.
“This was occasioned with the need to get the new intakes of our noble institution familiarised with important places like lecture theatres, various faculties, Students’ Affairs Division, Information and Communication Technology Application Centre(ICTAC), Senate Building, Aluta Market, Banks, Health Centre, University Library, and lot more in the university environment.”
From reports gathered, the tour which had in attendance of close to 200 freshers was smoothly and successfully carried out by Comrades Oladipo Olúwaṣeun and Tolulope Adeyefa, the Chief Executive Officer and General Secretary of Helping Hands Foundation respectively, alongside some well-known staylites: Comrades Ebola, INEC, Kemzy, D’Gladys among others.
Mr. Tolulope in the mood of appreciation said, “We appreciate all the participants for their utmost cooperation, and also those who contributed in no small measure towards ensuring the successful program. Again, we wish you all a successful stay on campus.”
