A talented comedian and promising student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), Adekanbi Mofetoluwa, popularly known as MC Mofy, in an exclusive interview talked about what inspired to get delve into the entertainment industry, his journey so far and the challenges he has faced so far.
Kindly tell us about yourself and what you do.
My name is Adekanbi Mofetoluwa Davies also known as MC Mofy. I’m currently studying English and Literally Studies at AAUA. I’m from Akure, Ondo state, Nigeria. I am a comedian and master of ceremony.
What inspired you into comedy?
A lot of things, I love making people happy. I’m always happy when people around me are happy, I also have this craving of a thing for craft. So I started watching the likes of Seyi law, Funny bone, AY and the likes, I also love stand-up comedy and I realize that it’s something I can actually do.
What were those factors that discouraged you in your comedy career?
Funds is the major factor that affected me, when you are doing something and you are not getting much money you might get tired. But for the love and passion for it, we move!
How has been your journey as MC Mofy?
The journey hasn’t been easy and smooth though, but with God it has been good.
Tell us about your social life, how you relate with people socially?
Well am a master of ceremony and I always relate with people with respect. We all deserve respect as due.
What’s your advice for upcoming entertainers?
Keep being yourself, stay true to yourself all the time. There is no limit to what you can do, believe in God and be hardworking to yield positive results.
I am a cool-headed being, straightforward with an unbiased spirit.
