Election: Francofone reacts after SUEC disqualification

One of the leading aspirants for the position of the President in the forthcoming AAUA Students’ Union election, Comrade Seyifunmi Francis Adeosun politically known as Francofone has reacted to the disqualification by the Students’ Union Electoral Committee known as SUEC.

Earlier, the Students’ Union aspirant was disqualified due to security reasons as stated by the Students’ Electoral Body alongside another leading aspirant for the position of Welfare Director, Adekunle Folorunsho from the Department of Political Science.

The law undergraduate has however, released a press release after the disqualification.

In the press statement, Francofone has appreciated the entire students populace for staying true during this period and believing in his ideology of leading the Students’ Union in the best possible way.

In the statement of the press release made available by Francofone, he stated, “It is our intentions to represent your interest and lead a students Union that will be attractive and unique, a union that will priotize your welfare in all ramifications.”

He further assured the students and his supporters to stay calm and be hopeful as he is prepared for the task ahead.

“I urge you all to stay calm and peaceful. Let us at this point avoid any provocative comments or words being thrown at us at this point in time,” Francofone added.
