The candle night will begin by 7 pm when students and loved ones converge at the Old RC, opposite the OBJ Hall. All participants are to dress in a black outfit to respect the deceased who, till death, was a beloved comrade in the department.

Ms Emiola passed to glory on Sunday, November 13, after a brief illness.

Different student bodies under and beyond SOSSA have sent condolences to the family and friends of the Vice president of the department of Criminology and security studies.

Speaking with AAUA Insider, Agbede Oluwarimi (Dherealson) -400 level Criminology department- revealed that she manages people well with a strong leadership spirit.

He said, “She’s a reserved person and very good. She knows how to manage people well, she has a very strong leadership spirit.”

Bello Ifeoluwa (Daddy Yo), also a 400-level student, described her as a “good soul”.

“I can categorically say that she’s of good behaviour to everyone. She doesn’t fight. Even if she’s angry, she will call you to tell you. Easy going, she loves everyone.”
