Creative Thinkers Forum Celebrate it’s 5th Anniversary

The Creative Thinkers Forum; a Non-Governmental Organization celebrates its 5th anniversary in a grand style comprising different intellectual nationally.

The event which took place on 27th September of August, 2022, at Government Day Secondary School, Tanke, Ilorin, Kwara State. In celebration of its fifth anniversary scholarships were offered to 10 students.

The non-governmental organization with the slogan “Healing the ills of the society” started in September 2018 by Damilola Oluwagbamila also known as Prof Dammy, a student of Adekunle Ajasin University, from the department of Animal Science Department who is also the President of the organization.

The organization has members across various states ranging from students, working-class people, individuals, and youths who come together to learn and brainstorm on their WhatsApp group. Not only that, they have other social media handles.

The method of the non-governmental organization is to celebrate its anniversary every year by giving scholarships to students in government schools in a state and also a get-together party where members come together to see one another.

On arrival of The Creative Thinkers Forum members and their President; Damilola Oluwagbamila at the School at 9:30 am, students were registered by Ismail Mustapha. One of the students led the opening prayer. National Anthem and School Anthem were sung, Mr. Ishola the principal of the school gave a welcome address and Ismail Mustapha informed the students about the Creative Thinkers Forum.

The President of the organization; Damilola Oluwagbamila gave a career talk to the students and there was a brainstorming exercise by Godwin Elohor and Adeniyi Temitope. The non-governmental organization presented notebooks and mathematical sets to the school and gave scholarships to 10 students of the school.

The Principal, Vice Principal, and 5 members of staff of the school were present at the school that day. The Principal was delighted and showered praises on what the organization did. Students who won the scholarships were interviewed and pictures were taken.

These are the names of the students who are privileged by the scholarships: Okafor Prevail, Ayeni Oluwaseyi, Bamidele David, Obafemi Jesuferanmi, Samuel Priscilla, Uthman Aishat, Olorunfemi Victoria.
