The Welfare Director of AAUASU, Odole Mojisola, also known as Voice has said that only one student should sit at tricycles and shuttle buses’ front seats within the campus.
This was made known in a statement obtained by AAUA INSIDER.
In the press release signed by the Welfare Director, the new direction is to enhance comfortability and ease the students.
The statement read in part, “Having done proper scrutiny as regards the shuttle bus and some other mediums used in conveying students to their various destinations on campus, the office of the welfare director in conjunction with the office of the president has come to a conclusion that henceforth there shall be only one passenger at the front seat of both shuttle buses and tricycles so as to help enhance comfortability and ease our stay on campus.”
Furthermore, she said, “We are working towards bringing more shuttles on campus to relieve student from struggling to get shuttle bus”.
This new development is important and it is in the interest of the students because many students have complained about two people seating at the front seat saying most times they feel uncomfortable and sometimes they get hurt when the driver moves the vehicle gear.
We believe with this new development, there will be a bit of comfort when AAUAites are trying to get to their different lecture theaters.
