Breaking: AAUA students union launches ‘One AAUAITE, One Skill’ entrepreneurship programme

In commemoration of the 2022 International Students’ Day, the Students Union of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, launched an entrepreneurship programme tagged “One AAUAITE, One Skill Entrepreneurship Initiative”.

The president of AAUASU, Comrade Kolade Ogunsami during the launching of the initiative urged the students of the university to embrace the rare opportunity to partake in the skill.

“The initiative is to ensure that an average AAUAITE must have one skill or the other as this is an Entrepreneurship age. Hence this brings out the title ONE AAUAITE ONE SKILL.”

According to Comrade Multiple, the entrepreneurship programme is aimed at building students who will become successful entrepreneurs in society.

“ONE AAUAITE ONE SKILL is an Entrepreneurship program designed by the students’ Union of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko, the program is targeted towards building Entrepreneurs among the Students that will be relevant in nation building and as well strength the economy of the country.

“The program will start with digital and vocational skills which includes web design, graphics design, illustration, copywriting, blogging, digital marketing, social media management, data analysis, video editing, tie and dye, leather work, fashion design, make-up and gele, pastries and cake making, soap making, organic cream making and batik among others that will prepare students of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) for emerging digital and industrial economy and provide a modern-day employability requirements,” he said.
