The executive arm of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko, Student Union, has reacted to the three days ultimatum to provide the Union’s statement of account.
In a letter obtained by AAUA INSIDER, the three working days which was given by the SRC are to take effect from Monday, October 25 2021 till Wednesday.
Recently, this presently SRC vows to summon all the past union leader under the leadership of Comrade Supreme for a free hearing over a report of misappropriate of fund and embezzlement.
In a letter signed by Comrade Multiple said, “We are yet to operate or carry out any transactions with the Students’ Union account due to delay in change of signatories to the union account which is also as a result of the former signatories”.
The statement read in part, ‘‘We want to put to the notice of the Senate President, and that of the public who might be misinformed, that the current administration under Comrade Ogunsanmi Kolade is yet to operate or carry out any transaction with the Students’ Union account due to delay in change of signatories which is as a result of the unavailability of the former signatories’’.
The SEC added that during their second sittings, which was held yesterday, 22 October 2021 have resolve to ensure that all processes to change the signatories to the student union account not later than Monday, 25 October, 2021.
as all the three (3) former executives, which are the President, Financial Secretary and Treasurer bearing the signatories to the account has be summoned to vet their signatures not later than the set date.
The SEC made it known that there can’t be provision of statement of account without making use of it.
