The Sport Director of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko AAUA Student Union (AAUASU), Adewole Adebayo, known as Lovebayor, has prohibited students from using the school pitch.
Lovebayor disclosed this in a statement released via social media. He said only person granted permission will be allowed to use the pitch.
This was disclosed on February 10, 2021. It was said that, the purpose of this conception is basically to make peace reign among students/teams for it was noticed that the school pitch was abused as a result of lack of adequate maintenance and clashes among students.
Hence, no more fixed matches or training without being granted permission if not such students will be penalized accordingly.
In addition to this, it was as well highlighted that whoever that is interested to be a professional referee should reach the students union sport director.

“IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL SPORTLOVERS
“Prior to the abuse of the institution football and the clash on the field, the Office of the sport director has deemed it fit to inform the students populace that the pitch shall be henceforth guided for maintainance and for peace to reign.
“It’s henceforth stated that, the office of the Sport Director should be duly notified before the sport complex can be used. An official letter/notice should be sent through the Faculty sport director to the Students Union Sport Director.
“No one should henceforth fix any match to be played at the sport complex without the prior notice of the Students Union Sport director, anyone who breaches this, shall be penalized.
“The sport director wishes to inform the concerned people that there shall be a meeting of all sport director at the Students Union building by 11am on Friday.
“If there is anyone who wishes to be a professional referee, such person should message the students union sport director.
