AAUASU promises to tackle blackout, urges students to support ‘Clean AAUA’

The AAUA student union president, Ogunsanmi Kolade (Multiple) has assured students that he will address the irregular power supply at Adefarati and Medoline area.

Multiple made this known through a statement issued earlier today, obtained via his WhatsApp status by AAUA Insider.

He also promised to attend to discrepancies on production of ID Card and university portal.

His statement read, “I received a report that the Adefarati and Medoline axis are recently facing blackout. The leadership of the Union will visit officials of the Benin Electricity Distribution Company, BEDC Akungba.”

“In the same vein, approximately quarters will attend to the issue of the University portal as well as students ID card”.

More so, he implored the students to show their supports towards the forthcoming programme tagged ‘Clean AAUA’ and the launching of International Students day, tagged ‘One AAUAite, One Skill’ which is set to hold on 16th and 17th of November

‘One AAUAITE, one Skill’ is an entrepreneurial programme which is meant to equip each AAUA student with a skill while studying in school.

The programme is set to launch tomorrow with the ‘Clean AAUA’ project, which involves environmental sanitation of the campus and its environment.

“Furthermore, I enjoin all students to support the union’s programme slated to hold tomorrow 16 and 17th November, Clean AAUA and International Students day where the Students union will launch an entrepreneurship programme tagged One AAUAite, One Skill”

“I again assure entire AAUAites that this administration will continue to agitate proper welfare and coupled with activities that will mould and reshape our campus experience,” he concluded.
