The Faculty of Education of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) has shared important information to students that are to participate in the 2019/2020 teaching practice.
The information was disclosed through an Internal Memorandum by Dr A. I. Elumaro for the Teaching Practice Committee of the faculty.
According to the memorandum, it is necessary for students to properly register for each semester and session of their studentship and participation in the 2019/2020 Teaching Practice.
The memorandum read in part, “Sequel to the position of the University Management on effective service delivery with regards to the need for students to properly register for each semester and session of their studentship, participation in the 2019/2020 Teaching Practice will be based on the following criteria.”
The committee said 200 level and 300 level students must register for the prerequisite course on avers, adding that the course registration must be validated by the Head of Department and Dean of Faculty. It further said the copy of the course registration should be submitted to the Committee on or before Monday, July 26, 2021.
“All Teaching Practice students must register for EDU 204 (for 200 level students) or EDU 304 (for 300 level students), on avers and have their course registration forms endorsed by their Head of Department and the Dean of Faculty.
“Each student should submit a copy of duly endorsed course registration form to the Teaching Practice Committee not later than Monday, 26th July, 2021.”
The memorandum added that the students are expected to keep a hard copy of the course registration and their student’s identity card during the period of the teaching practice as posting and supervision will be based on these guidelines.
“All students are to keep a hard copy of the course registration form and their student identity card with them throughout the period of the Teaching Practice.
“Teaching Practice posting and supervision will be based on these guidelines.”
