AAUA Student Holds Public Lecture, Launches New Book

An auspicious student of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko, Olaitan Bada has launched a book titled Nuggets to Stardom at a public lecture.

The event was held on Friday, September 17, at ASUU Cooperative Hall, AAUA.

One of the guest speakers, Dr Elumaro, stated his perspective from the book during his lecture, he said that every chapter of the book gives enlightenment on how to achieve your goals, identifying yourself and not copying others, identifying your dream, goal or target, and perseverance.

He said in “You cannot have a goal and not be passionate about it”.

Miss Diwura Williams, who spoke on feminism, defined feminism as Pro-women and not dragging matters or position with the male gender, she went further by saying that it is a fair judgement or a fair entitlement between the male and female gender.

The book review and the introduction of the PRIME-MOVERS were done by Mr Tunde Akingbondere, he said in his statement that the prime movers are set of young minds, passionate about bringing a change to society, he said that the book is a block-bluster that defines leadership and development having undergone series of editing and proofreading.

The book was launched with the sum of N2,000 and the launching was done by Pastor Adaramola.

In the conclusion of the program Mr Adeyefa Tolulope, who spoke on the theme: making your time count, in his statements, he made mention how to make one count and why you should make it count.

When the event was almost coming to end, this makes us have an interactive session with some of those who were present at the event, to make it known their opinion towards the book.

One of them said the book was lunch today by Olaitan Bada is a book meant for the general public most especially students because the publisher has proven himself worthy enough.

“For every student that has a vision must a mission,” says Adepoju Williams.

Pastor Daramola Jeremiah Sunday who is also one of the guests says his advice to Nigerian students is to inculcate the habit of reading because readers are leaders. He further encourages Nigeria students that they should not deliberately stop reading.

Adeyefa Tolulope says he sees the book as a replica of his personality. The title of the book is just trying to give an insight into the most important things.

He further advised the Nigerian students to try and get a copy and read, although they are not here they should try and get a copy because everyone has aspirations in life and needs guidance and this book will be of great importance to all.
