AAUA resumes 2019/2020 session again, sets new examinations date

The management of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) Ondo State, have announced a new resumption date for the commencement of its First Semester Examinations.

This was disclosed in a circular released on Monday, February 15, 2020, to the entirety of the students of AAUA.

Recall that the University earlier agreed to commence the First Semester Examinations on January 25, but was postponed due to an incident.

On January 23, a Dangote truck conveying bags of cement rammed into shops at the University gate to claim the lives of students and residents of Akungba land. The incident also left many injured.

After a reasonable consideration, the Acting Vice Chancellor on behalf of the Senate of the University announced Wednesday, January 24, 2021 to commence the earlier postponed First Semester Examinations.

“CIRCULAR TO ALL STUDENTS

“COMMENCEMENT OF 2019/2020 FIRST SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS

“I write to inform the entire students’ populace and the University Community that the Acting Vice Chancellor on behalf of Senate has directed that the 2019/2020 First Semester Examinations earlier postponed would now commence on Wednesday, 24th February, 2021.

“Students are therefore, advised to resume and complete their registration for the First Semester 2019/2020 Academic Session before the commencement of the Examinations.

“The time table for the Examinations would be released by Tuesday, 16th February, 2021.”

The circular was signed by the Acting Registrar, Opeoluwa Akinfemiwa.
