AAUA: No Resumption Date Yet – Dean of Student Affairs

The Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Akanbi has debunked the rumour flying around about the information that the resumption date has been fixed January 10, 2022.

Prof. Akanbi said the University management is yet to decide on the resumption date to continue to the first semester of the 2019/2020 academic session.

Recall that AAUA students on Monday, November 22, 2021 staged a protest that led to the destruction of properties at the University’s Senate Building.

Prof. Akanbi said a panel has been set to look into the damages caused by the students.

“I’m not aware of such information and the University Senate are yet to decide on a resumption date.”

“I can only assure that a panel has been set up to look into the damages caused by the students during the protest and hopefully once the holiday is over they will work seriously and get back to the management.”
