The management of Adekunle Ajasin University has given directives to the students on the collection of their matriculation gowns for the upcoming matriculation ceremony for the 2020/2021 academic session.
In a circular obtained by AAUA INSIDER, which was signed by the deputy registrar of the institution, it stated that all faculty officers are expected to come for their matriculation gowns from Wednesday 3rd to Friday 5th November 2021, at the examination and record unit between 12:00 noon to 2 pm. Also, all matriculation gowns are to be returned to the faculty officers on or before Friday 12th of November. Students are therefore encouraged to consult their respective faculty officers for the collection of their matriculation gowns.
Furthermore, students are expected to keep the matriculation gown in good condition before, during, and after the matriculation ceremony. Students are expected to keep the matriculation gown from loss or damages because it attracts sanctions.
More so, the management also makes it known to the students that clearance obtained from the faculty screening committee must be tendered before gowns will be issued to them.
They also enjoined the students to comply with the guidelines to avoid sanctions by the school management.
