AAUA: Management exempts physically impaired students from paying reparation fee

Amid the reduction in the amount of reparation fee, the management of the university has exempted students living with disabilities from paying the new reparation fee.

This was disclosed in statement released by the students’ union executives.

“The reparation fee earlier pegged to the tune of #20, 000 per student has now been reduced to #10,000. However, physically impaired students will be exempted from paying the reparation fee.”

This condition obeys the Federal Government ‘Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities’ (Prohibition) Act of 2018.
