One of the leading student organizations in Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Impact Leaders Club has appointed new executive members in an event held on Monday, September 20, 2021 at the Olusegun Obasanjo Multipurpose Hall of the University.
At the inauguration, the outgoing executives were urged to support the new executives for them to pilot the affairs of the organization.
The special guests invited to the hightable are the Staff Adviser, Mr Victor Mapayi; the past president of Junior Chamber International Nigeria (JCIN AAUA), Adebayo Tosin Genesis; the incumbent president of JCIN AAUA, Badmus Ayoade Seun; Director of Presentation , Diwura Williams representing the team lead of ENACTUS, President of Nigerian Union of Campus Journalists AAUA chapter, Oluwatosin Ologun.
In his speech, the staff adviser, Mr Mapayi urged the members to deliver a good leadership skill.
“ILC wants you to deliver a good leadership skill. For you to be balance, you need to balance your academic life with your social life.”
He also urged to past executives to support the new executives.
Inauguration of new exectives
The outgoing president, Miss Oreoluwa announced the name of the new executives. After announcing she name of the new executives, she shared her experience while serving as the president of the organization.
“I believe in destiny, whatever will happen, God knows about it. Work as a team. You can achieve a lot working together.”
The returning president, Damilola Oluwagbamila, also known as Prof Dammy gave the closing speech.
